Kathryn Plazak

President, Plazak Associates

Kathy Plazak brings a wide range of experiences and talents to ACCESS’ Board of Trustees. A public affairs professional, she has extensive experience in philanthropy, administration, management, community and government relations. Prior to establishing a public affairs consulting business (Plazak Associates) that serves corporate, foundation, and non-profit clients across Boston, Kathy spent 25 years with New England Financial, where she was head of Public Affairs. She also served as Vice President, Administrative officer, and Corporate Secretary for the Individual Business Division of MetLife, the parent company of New England Financial. Her current memberships and affiliations include: Boston Plan for Excellence, and the United Way of Massachusetts Bay. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Marietta College and an MBA from Boston University. Kathy currently lives in Boston with her husband and two children.
