Bak Fun Wong

Headmaster, Josiah Quincy Upper School

Bak Fun Wong is currently in his ninth year as Headmaster of the Josiah Quincy Upper School in Boston’s Chinatown. The Upper School represents a continuation of the Josiah Quincy Elementary School, which Bak Fun previously led as principal for 14 years. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as Deputy Superintendent for Clusters and School Leaders in the Boston Public Schools. He currently serves as a board member of the Wang YMCA, a comprehensive nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the physical health, social and cultural needs of first and second generation Chinese Americans. He is also a member of the New England Medical Center Governor Board.
