Kathryn Plazak

President, Plazak Associates

Kathy Plazak is President of Plazak Associates, a consulting practice that provides planning and management services to corporations, non-profit organizations, and foundations. Among other clients, she serves as the ongoing Conference Director for IDEAS Boston, a unique annual event that showcases innovators and the rich array of intellectual capital of this region. Kathy founded her firm in 2003 after a distinguished career in the corporate sector, most recently serving as Vice President of Public affairs for New England Financial. She is a long-time resident of Boston and serves on several other non-profit boards, including the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, the Boston Plan for Excellence in the Public Schools, and Boston After School & Beyond.
