James Halpin

Owner, River Bend, Inc.

Jim Halpin is the founder of River Bend, Inc., a private investment firm specializing in private equity and venture capital. During his career, Jim has successfully held several executive management positions at multinational companies, including Homebase, BJ Wholesale Club, and the Zayre Corporation. From 1992-2001, he served as President and CEO of CompUSA, the world’s largest chain of computer stores with over 225 retail outlets. Jim serves on the boards of Marvel Entertainment and Life Time Fitness Inc.
