Alexander Packard

Chief Operating Officer, Monitor Executive Development

Alexander Packard is responsible for the recruiting, staffing, marketing, finance and legal functions, and leading various strategic initiatives for Monitor Executive Development. He is passionate about building / growing businesses based on people and ideas. Previous to joining Monitor, Zander was a partner in a venture philanthropy firm, New Profit Inc., led advertising and strategy for a historically significant national magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, during a turnaround, and developed new products/markets for a for profit, membership-based research organization, The Advisory Board, and its spin-off firm, The Corporate Executive Board. At one time Zander was a competitive oarsman at the national level and coached collegiate rowing for three years. Zander has a B.A. from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard and lives with his family in Brookline, Massachusetts.
