Rashaun Martin
Program Director, History Department, Boston Latin School Rashaun is Program Director for History at Boston Latin School, from which he graduated in 1997. He has been a member of the Boston Latin School faculty since 2001. Rashaun is on the Board of Directors for the Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, MA, the Board of Governors for The Catholic University of America, the Board of Overseers for the USS Constitution Museum and the Advisory Board for Boston Catholic Charities. Rashaun earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Philosophy and Religion from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 2001. While at the Catholic University, he served as President of the Undergraduate Student Government and on the University Board of Trustees. He received the Martin Luther King Jr. Multi-Cultural Service Award and the Martha Comiskey Memorial Award for student leadership. In 2002, Rashaun earned a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Simmons College in Boston and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership in 2006. In addition, from 2003-2006, he served as the Intern and Family Programs Coordinator at the USS Constitution Museum in Charlestown. He and his wife Andrea reside in East Boston. |
