Njeri graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Africana Studies and Political Science in June 2007. At Wellesley, Njeri became very active both on and off campus. She hosted her own radio show, "Black Roots," for three years and became a mentor with Big Brother Big Sister.

She has done extensive service work in the Caribbean, including working with the Jamaica Red Cross on their HIV/AIDS campaign and planning and participating in a conference in Trinidad and Tobago on constitution building. As a native of Boston and a graduate of Boston Latin School, Njeri is excited about joining ACCESS in its effort to ensure that every young person in Boston has the opportunity to pursue his or her dream of higher education.
